Battle.net will be fun but because they wont allow me to Lan party (THE FUNNEST WAY TO PLAY STARCRAFT!!) I will not buy this game and hunt for a pirate copy online that gives me lan and if I can’t find one which I hugely doubt because this no lan bullshit is pissing off hackers too lol I will just play starcraft 2 cracked they will not get any money from me but I PROMISE if they add lan I will purchase this game because the deserve it for making a COMPLETE game

Alright, I’ll be putting extra work into disassembling this, so we can screw Blizzard over with a LAN patch a week after it’s released. Ever since WoW, Blizzard started sucking. Now they’ve reached the bottom of the hill, I wonder if they can go any lower?

I won’t be buying the game either just to do my bit to piss Blizzard off as much as I can.

Someone will crack this so it can be played over LAN. So then the cracked version will be better than the for sale version. Guess which one I’m going to get?

Yes, mostly true, except for blizzard and their WOW. They think that if they turn SC into WOW they will make more money. time will tell them that they utterly screwed up. Good job Blizzard.

Eh, at least when my friends and I hang out we can play StarCraft 1 LAN. No way I'm connecting to Battle.Net to play with a group of friends who are all in the same room. Way to go Blizzard.

After reading this from a friend, I decided I won’t be buying SC2 anymore. Instead I will be pirating that game 100%. Because everything less about it is just the story line. I don’t care about BNet gameplay at all.

I own Original Copy of SC1 and play BNet only once every year or so. I just like the LAN multiplayer feature so I can play with friends on custom maps. Not the douches on BNet. So I guess thats it for me. No more bookmarking starcraft2.com.

Blizzard: Add LAN or DIE.

It’s sad to think that Blizzard did this. If they are worried about piracy problems then maybe they should have put something in the game’s code, not remove LAN. Hell, I’m fine if they want to get rid of the spawn thing. Every time I had a LAN party everyone had their own set of CDs (SC1 and Brood War). Hell, I have two sets cause I couldn’t find the ones I had before! Anyone can see that Blizzard is trying to make a boat load of money off of this and are even willing to get a lower rating for it. But this whole no LAN thing is really going to hurt their bottom line. Ho many people do you think are going to by the other two storyline pieces? Hell, I never even played the zerg or protoss storylines in the first two. The only thing I have done with SC1 is LAN and play against the computer. I never used Battle.net and I am never planning on using it. Thank you Blizzard for saving me time and money, because now I have no need to build a new gaming rig.
