Street Fighter IV on The Wii? It is Possible

Capcom’s Christian Svensson had a few words about Street Fighter IV on a message board Q&A, mainly “..never say never when it comes to Capcom.”
Those who only own a Wii wistfully dream of a day where Street Fighter IV will grace their console, but Capcom has given no indication that they plan to release the fighter on the Nintendo console. But Svensson’s “never say never” comment puts a match under the fire.
“Never is such a long time. Beyond that, I have nothing to add right now. While not every aspect of Street Fighter IV’s presentation would likely be possible on the Wii, the core elements are obviously possible. As for “never happen!” — I’d hope that if Tatsunoko vs. Capcom has taught us anything, it’s that we should never say never when it comes to Capcom.”
And if there is anything any gamer knows, it’s that Capcom loves to port. Svensson’s comment isn’t official, and it doesn’t say “Yes, we’re bring it to the Wii,” but it is a hearty reminder of just how Capcom has handled its titles in the past. And if they follow their track record, chances are Street fighter IV really will be ported to the Wii.
