Warcraft III exploit issue delays Diablo II 1.13 patch

One can expect this from Blizzard. The much expected 1.13 patch for Diablo II has been delayed yet again. Reason – Someone has managed to hack into Warcraft III in a way that malicious software could be spread through Warcraft III maps.

Many gamers have been heated when the confirmation broke out yesterday about Starcraft 2 not supporting lan. So furious that over 7,000 fans have signed a petition to Blizzard to add Lan support. Today, Blizzard reps have made a few posts defending their decision and addressing concerns fans may have.

Blizzard Released Battle.Net Mobile Authenticator

Blizzard just released the Battle.net authenticator for mobile phones. It will let players to log into their Blizzard game accounts on their cell phones, such as World of Warcraft. Players must link their games on the Battle.net first to use the program.

Blizzard just updated their Battle.net webpage and it will allow users to merge their World of Warcraft accounts to the Battle.net. This will be the beginning of what they plan to do when they will merge all Blizzard products under one roof.

Blizzard’s most anticipated RTS sequal, Starcraft II, will be released with no LAN. Although this may not seem sound like a big deal to most of you folks, but I had to say I couldn’t stand playing on BattleNet with all the lag issues and spam.
