Disney Buy Out Marvel – Doom to Marvel Games?

It was reported today that Disney will be acquiring Marvel Entertainment for a total of $4 billion dollars. Which means we can see a upcoming Marvel vs Disney game coming soon..or maybe not.

Over at CapcomUnity forum, a moderator posted the image of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for the Playstation 3. It will arrive to retail stores and PSN on the 13th.

Capcom’s Twitter account posted up yesterday that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will not be set out into the wild on June 29 like everyone expected, but rather it will be released “closer to the end of July.”

Vicarious Visions has released its second 3D screenshot of the upcoming Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 mash up. This second batch of screenshots features ‘Deadpool’ (one of my favs) and ‘Iron Fist’. The cool thing about these 3d screenshot is that it rotates around.

Since the Thunderbolts played a pretty major part in Marvel’s Civil War storyline, it’s no surprise that some more characters from that super-hero/super-villain team are joining the game’s line-up.

Just another really cool gaming that I’m looking forward to seeing, additionally a game that’ll try to cover some more details on as well. Not sure about most of you folks but I’m a pretty big Marvel fanboy. I’m a big sucker for superheroes.

Big news for Marvel fans out there! Gazillion Entertainment a startup online game company just signed a deal to exclusive rights to use Marvel characters in their upcoming games. Hopefully, they will pick up the MMO Marvel Online Universe, which was sadly cancelled in 2007.
