A high employee at Square Enix posted that MMORPG ‘Final Fantasy XI’ will be shutting down completely this year to make way for ‘Final Fantasy XIV’. However, the post was deleted from that person’s blog and there are still no confirmation whether this will be true.

MindArk’s MMO called ‘Entropia Universe’ held a auction recently that sold a space station called the ‘Crystal Palace’ for 3,300,000 PED. The currency of 3,300,000 PED when converted to US dollars turns out to be $330,000, which makes this the most expensive virtual item to be auctioned off.
