We all know how successful the first remake of Monkey Island was and it has been speculated and confirmed that if the first remake succeeds, they will continue to remake another.

With the revival of the Monkey Island franchise, Loneclone used the original 2d settings from ‘Monkey Island 2: Le Chuck’s Revenge’ and created 3d effect through CRYENGINE. The results are just amazing.

Another awesome goodie announced by Lucas Arts via twitter. The Monkey Island Special Edition will be available for 800 MS points via XBLA or $9.99 on Steam for PC in less than 5 days from now.

The German USK rating board has revealed LucasArts will be re-releasing Monkey Island adventure game. Speculation seem to point to it as a download for Xbox 360 XBLA.
