Activision has announced the release date for Prototype 2 which will be launching in the US on April 24, 2012. No confirmation has been made if that will be a world wide release or just for the US.

A new trailer for Prototype 2 is out from E3 and has the new lead, James Heller, express his hatred for the protagonist of the original, Alex Mercer. Once that part is over with, the action is just unbelievable, the game can’t come any sooner.

The new Prototype 2 trailer appears to lack a bit of taste on what we can expect from the game but the game is still in its early development so all can be forgiven. At least we can enjoy the poetic throw with the beautiful classical symphony. Let’s hope Radical Entertainment will provide a little more in their next trailer.
