The controversy revolving around ‘RapeLay’, the Japanese hentai game has reach a new level in the US. First, they ban the game from selling on Amazon, then they ban the game from publishing in Japan. Now it seems owning the game will be a federal crime in the US.

TBS news just reported that ‘rape’ theme games will be banned in Japan too. This was due to the controversy of RapeLay and the aftermath of it.

Last week, a complaint of a game sold on their site known as Rapelay has caused a huge controversy among many consumers. Ebay & Amazon has banned Rapelay and the NYC Council is now attempting to ban the game from ever being distributed in NYC.
