Team Meat Don’t F-ing Care About Piracy At All

Team Meat said that don’t really care about their game being pirated at all.

Tommy Refenes and Edmund McMillen from Team Meat told Dark Zero about how they feel about games being pirated and their game being pirated:

“Our game was hugely pirated – we don’t fucking care,”

“If there are let’s say 200,000 copies of Super Meat Boy that are getting passed around for free, that’s 200,000 people who are playing the game.

“If they like this game there’s a really high probability of their friends coming around and seeing it or them posting about it on their blogs. And it’s not cool to go round and say I really like this game that I stole, so they’re not going to say that. So it’s going to come around to sales.”

That is a great way to look at it and Team Meat will not hurt the real consumers that buys their game. With all the new DRM measures being taken with other companies, it just makes it harder for real customers to actually play the games anymore. Now we just got to hope that more companies will lessen their security measures for piracy, since piracy already seem like it can not be stopped even with all those protection put into place.
