Terminator: Salvation – Gameplay Trailer

Warner Brothers released a new gameplay trailer for Terminator Salvation, which will be released on May 19th on the Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 in conjunction with the movie. The above video is comprised solely of gameplay footage from Grin’s upcoming John Connor simulator, replete with plenty of gun shootin’, grenade throwin’, cover grabbin’ action.

terminator-salvationEven though the trailer is just some gameplay footage strewn together with some music from the Terminator soundtrack, we can see a lot of how the game will play. The Game will have rail sequences with you in a car and with some sort of machine gun (always a plus), a co-operative element will also be involved and that we will be able to fight the big monstrous machines we have seen in the movie trailers.

As we all know, movie games like this are usually not the best quality, but from what I can see the graphics look good (my guess is that they used the PS3 Gameplay footage from the look of the trailer) and the combat looks pretty straight forward. Hopefully in May we will be able to see if this game is worth playing or just another rushed game for the movie masses.
