The Blizzard Universe recreated with LEGO

May 1, 2009 by Ruibo

As a kid I’ve always been a fan of toys that gave my brain a little tease, but as time passed on I was sucked into video games, Blizzard games especially. Maybe its time for Blizzard and Lego to partner up and create Blizzards Universe in Lego. Below are some awesome samples of some popular Blizzard games created with Lego.

The Ghost doesn’t really look like a Ghost, but I give you leeway because they’re lego.

Good job with the Tauren. and banshee..and booty bay (I’m guessing that’s from WOW?)

I always thought that Starcraft was full of iconic pieces of machinery that would make some pretty badass LEGO models. However, the chances are slim that this would really happen since they would also have to create Zerg models, which I imagine would be pretty damn hard, if not even impossible.

Still, seeing these pictures brought a tear to my eye (and jizz in my pants). Perhaps we could see some instructions for building these? Now, given the right parts and a high-res picture of the in-game model, it shouldn’t be too hard to get the details right, but I imagine it must’ve been a bitch getting the right shape on the bulkier, more irregular models (such as the Banshee) ‘specially since you practically have to build them from the inside out.
