When staring at the seemingly endless flow of multi-colored Tetris blocks barreling down the screen, surely we’ve all wondered just where all those blocks come from? Right? The block fairy? Block gremlins, maybe? Some sort of cosmic event? Okay, so probably not – but in case you were curious, South Korea’s WooDUS provides a nicely made video that has the answer for you. They come from… uh, the block factory… made by little, dancing blockhead guys… er, just watch the video.

Poor little guys, so happy to churn out blocks that will only later vanish instantly, never to be seen again, all in the name of high scores. Now, the question is: is the video just mindless entertainment, or a philosophical look at the futility of life?
