Trine PSN Release the Cheapest of Them All

It can be a headache trying to figure out which version of a multiplatform game to buy, but it looks like Playstation Network is trying to make that decision a little easier for anyone interested in Trine.

The official price of the PSN version of the game will be $20 — that’s half of the PC version’s $40 price tag (though Steam is offering preorders at $30 with a free download of Shadowgrounds).

There don’t seem to be many differences between the PSN and the PC versions, so any wallet-conscious gamer would do well to pick up the PSN version if they do indeed have a PS3. Trine will be released on PC and PSN sometime in July.

Anyone with a Xbox 360 will have to wait a while longer for their version, as there is no official release date besides being hinted at sometime after July. But, an added incentive is that the 360 has online co-op, a feature unavailable on the other two releases for the time being.
