Turn 10 Studios Shows Off the New Forza 3 Video Editor

As far as racing games go on the Xbox 360, there’s really only one: Forza Motorsport. Fortunately for Microsoft, and for Xbox owners, Forza is one of the best racing sims you’ll find anywhere. Developer Turn 10 studios is bringing the next iteration of the series, Forza Motorsport 3, to the 360 this coming October.
While we know that the game will feature over 300 different models of cars, from humble cars tuned into racing monsters to experimental supercars, and we can assume that the game will feature some awesome white-knuckle racing action, there’s a lot more going on in this upcoming title.
Toward the end of their presentation at this years E3, the devs from Turn 10 highlighted one of the standout features that will appear in Forza 3: a powerful, versatile video editor. Previous Forza games have been known for allowing players to show off their creative side by designing and layering unique decals on their cars.
Well, Forza 3’s video editor takes that creative outlet and multiplies it by about 5,000. If you take a look at the video, it shows off what a talented and devoted individual can do using the Forza 3 video editor.
It’s pretty insane, and it also shows off the game’s racing engine and physics in action, including the new roll-over physics. It leaves very little to be desired – no doubt die hard racing fans and up-and-coming directors alike will be happy when this game comes out this fall.
