U R Mr Gay Mario

As it happened back in 2007, when Super Mario Galaxy was first released, the famous logo of the game contained colorful letters and some sparkling stars on some letters. If you read those star-highlighted letters you will get the message “U R MR GAY”. Some people got really mad at Nintendo claiming they were insulted, some stupid people tried to show it as proof that Nintendo Wii owners are truly gay for owning the system, some others just thought it was a coincidence and stated that Nintendo had no intention to get any subliminal message, and the most part of us just didn’t give a shit about this and just enjoyed this beautiful game.

Well, the thing is that Super Mario Galaxy 2 has the same art, just added the number two. What does that mean?

Maybe changing would be taken a sign of Nintendo’s previous art being such a subliminal message. Another option is that any publicity is good publicity. Finally it could just be that Nintendo does not care about these kind of things. Anyways, it is free to share your thoughts about this.
