United Front Games have just announced that they’re working on a new Hong Kong based action title for Activision. The Vancouver based company was first founded in 2007 from an impressive team of multi skilled staff from many places including Action Pants, Next Level Games, Propaganda Games, Radical Entertainment, Rockstar and EA Black Box. The Hong Kong game will be their first ever shipped development.

“We have assembled industry talent from around the world” Stefan Wessels, United Front Games general manager said “who have worked in senior positions on renowned titles such as the Need for Speed series, SKATE, Bully, Scarface, Godfather, Hulk, Spore and the NHL Sports franchise.”

During his time at EA Black Box Wessels was the producer for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. He stated that as a company United Front Games have an enormous expectation of themselves.

A job listing they released last month shows that they’re working on two titles for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Other than this we don’t have anything further on this at the moment but we’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear more.
