Unreal Tournament 3: 4-player split screen with Wiimotes

January 30, 2009 by Ruibo

Now here’s a wicked display of programming know how. A programmer named Ryan Tani has slapped together a setup that will allow you to play 4-player split screen in the PC version of Unreal Tournament 3 (360, PS3) using Wiimotes.

I’m not even going to try and explain to you how to do this myself. You’ll have to check out Tani’s blog for the entire set of instructions on how to set this up for yourself. Meantime, here’s a video of the setup in action:

If someone can find a way to make a split screen mod for the PS3 version of Unreal Tournament 3, then I’ll be beyond happy!
