Wii Gets a Firmware Upgrade up to 4.1

Check out your Wii for the telltale “Update me now!” blue light sometime today. Firmware 4.1 is up and ready for download.

This firmware update was released in Japan to fix a bug in Wii Sports Resort, and chances are that’s the reason for updating overseas as well.

Of course, if you’re not planning on buying Wii Sports Resort or if your Wii is homebrew-licious, the update is not even something to think about.
