Wii Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles

We have made a previous post of a rumor that there will be a Resident Evil will coming out on the Wii. Yes its true, the new title will be Darkside Chronicles, a sequal to Umbrella Chronicles. In the recent issue of Famitsu magazine, there is a little hint regarding Capcom’s announcement tomorrow of a new Wii Resident Evil.
The game is going to feature Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield as they make their harrowing journey in Resident Evil 2. Apparantly, the Resident Evil: Outbreak areas of Raccoon City are going to be replaced with the authentic locales of Resident Evil 2 we all know, love, and fear.
What other RE games will make an appearance is yet unknown, though it has been speculated that a Resident Evil: Degeneration sequence will be included. Also, for those of you who were a bit dissatisfied with the sometimes harsh difficulty of Umbrella Chronicles, you will be pleased to hear that the challenge has been tapered a bit.
There is speculation that Capcom has more than one Wii Resident Evil game to announce tomorrow, so there still may be a surprise on the way. We’ll be sure to keep you up to date.
