World of Warcraft: Cataclysm announced at BlizzCon 2009

wow-cataclysm-logoThe long rumored expansion ‘World of Warcraft: Cataclysm’ has been officially announced at BlizzCon 2009. The expansion promises to bring players a whole new adventure through a destroyed and changed Azeroth.

Goblins and Worgen has been confirmed to be the new playable races, level cap will be increased to 85, and a whole bunch of new dungeons and quests. The old world will also be revamped and a secondary skill: Archaeology.

More details will follow within the next two days as a demo of the expansion will be playable at BlizzCon.
