Guess Who’s Back? Valve Brings Back Bill, Francis, Zoey & Louis to Left 4 Dead 2

Valve just revealed that their first download content for ‘Left 4 Dead 2′ will feature a new episode called ‘The Passing’. This campaign will feature your ‘L4D2′ cast such as Ellis, Coach, Rochelle, and Nick, but also features the old cast from ‘L4D’ Bill, Francis, Zoey, & Louis.
‘The Passing’ is supposedly takes place after the ‘Dead Center’ campaign and this is where the two groups will meet. Valve VP of marketing, Doug Lombardi even calls this “the most important campaign in the Left 4 Dead story, as all the Survivors are being called together in one campaign.”
In addition to the new co-operative campaign and associated narrative, “The Passing” will include new arenas for Survival, Versus and Scavenge mode and introduce a new co-operative challenge mode of play. The Passing will also include a new “uncommon common” zombie class, melee weapon, and firearm.
“The Passing will become the most important campaign in the Left 4 Dead story, as all the Survivors are being called together in one campaign,” said Doug Lombardi, VP of marketing at Valve. “It will also be a huge offering of new gameplay content, with something new for every game mode plus a new uncommon common and weaponry.”
The new DLC will hit Xbox 360 and PC in early Spring of 2010, but no word if Valve will charge for this DLC. Somehow, this is the best move Valve can make right now because I think deep down inside we all wanted the old team back.
More update should be on the way. One thing I definitely would like to hear from Valve on this DLC is a 8 player co-op play. That would just be perfect!!

One can only wish!
but wow this is the best new ever…Being Francis makes it feel like a badass game, but then with Louis it makes it feel like some real scary shit cause you know your character doesn’t have that hardcore look on him!
Zoey just slaps it on top with the RE2 feel!
as for Bill, you have to listen to some Blues Traveler – Bad to the bone and blow brains all over the place!
I haven’t played L4D2 yet but I am about to get it since I seriously upgraded my hardware!
